Several weeks ago I was out hiking with some friends and lo and behold, laying next to a tree was a digital camera. I tried to find the owner, took an ad in the LA Times and San Diego Union Tribune, checked with all the local newpapers to see if anyone placed an add saying they lost one. I even called Vivitar to see if someone had the serial, number registered and that maybe they could contact that person. No luck. So, I guess after a little more than a month, that makes the camera mine!
For about $20 I got the cables I need, downloaded the software and now I have a camera that retails for roughly $150 bucks. Vivitar Vivicam 3330!

I think that's mine. Please send it back. I'm in the Philippines right now. :D

Well, you tried to look for the owner, I guess you can say finders keeper. But if you still want to find the owner, maybe you might want to post the pictures taken (if any), or maybe try to search at a local photo club/forums. Who knows, you might just find the owner/s.

Elios, you are one lucky son of a gun. Enjoy your find, and post some pictures so we can all see!
