Team Xbox has previewed Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone. Here's a snip:

It has been some time since I REALLY enjoyed a hack n’ slash title; probably since EA’s games based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Two Towers satisfied many action-oriented gamers with its top-notch presentation and the frantic pace of its gameplay. The company responsible for the development of The Two Towers, San Francisco based Stormfront Studios, received many accolades for their work, but the team also felt as if they just scratched the surface of their talents. So how do you follow-up a wildly successful game based on one of the most recognized trilogies in literature and film? For starters you use the foundation of a role-playing franchise that has spanned some 30 years (Dungeons & Dragons), and then you have a New York Times bestselling author (R.A. Salvatore) pen the complete story. Then, mix in all of the elements that made your last title so great and you’re well on your way to another knockout. I’m speaking of the upcoming action title, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone. Already released for the PS2, the Xbox version is set to hit store shelves next week. We’ve decided to provide you with a few final thoughts before we break into our review.
