Gamer Feed has posted a hands-on of Demon Stone. Here's a snip:

To be honest, Demon Stone looks a lot like The Two Towers, in that the graphics are dark, and there's a ton of stuff going on. You're thrust into numerous battles, and while you can't kill everything, in the distance you'll see combatants battling it out. The game is a button masher, and features a three and sometimes four character system. Like X-Men Legends, you can change who you're controlling on the fly, which comes in handy when you want to execute special attacks. The three main characters differ in styles of play, and include a fighter, a sorcerer, and a rogue. Each, of course, has different attributes and strengths. The sorcerer throws magic attacks, while the fighter is the brute. The rogue, the only female playable character, specializes in stealth kills and is the fastest of the bunch. Lastly, you'll get to play as a fourth character, and D&D fans will be very pleased to see who it is. Of course, there are other famous characters in the game, including Drizzt Do'Urden and Khelban "Blackstaff" Arunsun.

It seems we are getting something like an action game, but contained within the rules of the Dungeons and Dragons system, effectively making it more than just fingerjob, but without removing the touch of action, which is basically the idea behind Action RPG. Famous characters' cameos will surely add to immersion without making the game too intense on questing, puzzles and micromanagement. Hope they'll make it at as good as BioWare made their KotOR action RPG in the Star Wars setting.[/i]
