    I'm working on a LE sorceress and she's suppose to have a german feel. Now looking at the "Where do I Come From" sheet, it says Damara is similar to Germany. What I'm wondering is how similar are the languages spoken in Damara to actual German (I notice there are alot of very English names in the FR world).

    No. The language spoken is Damarran. And since Damarrans are more like Russians...

    Real world similarities do not work well with the Realms, despite some people try again and again to match it up.

    Try to get your hands on the 2nd Edition supplement "The Bloodstone Lands". Damarra, Vaasa and to a lesser degree Impiltur are described within.
