    Even thought the allies executed the "liberation" extremely poorly I must say "thank you" as well.

    I don't think the D-Day landings were particularly poorly executed, some of the later parts of the war on the allied side were.

    However, a BIG thank you to all involved for ensuring the failure of the abominable third reich and ensuring our freedom.

    [​IMG] It's only fair that you extand thanks to the Soviet Union if you're going to give thanks to the western allies.

    Somehow I don't think people are as likely to do that...

    @Earl Grey: Of course the Soviet Union deserves our thanks as well. They were a major part in the destruction of the Third Reich.

    I didn't say the D-Day was poorly executed, I said the liberation was, and I stand for it.

    The Russians, however, are thanked by me as well. I know they haven't done too much good afterwards, but the USA have had serious screw-ups as well.
