Custom Monks? Anyway to allow them to be slowed or hasted?

Also, I was wondering if anybody created a drunken boxing Monk, where if you get intoxicated it actually helps you fight, increases strength, speed, etc. Of course, still makes you dumb...

Yea, but mainly the tweak for slowed or hasted? I can't find many custom chars for the Monk, other than already made chars. Linkage, download, help, needed. :)

For hasting or slowing a monk, you may be able to do it with SK, but I don't know anyway to do it in game. Their resistance to slow/haste is a natural ability of their class. They already move faster than other characters, and frankly, I don't know why you would want to slow them down.

For fun, what else? Oh ok...kind of disappointing but thanks for responding at least...I posted this on 3 different boards...and only you responded, so it must not have been done.

Could you do it by giving them a boots of speed? It'd increase their movement rate, at least. Seems like a waste, though.

The Bracer's of Blinding Strike (the ones you get off the Kuo-Tao Prince) override the Ring of Free Action, so maybe they'll work on a monk?

Boots of Speed won't work. I tried putting them on my monk PC before and she stayed at the same speed as before.

I didn't use Shadowkeeper. I just started BG1 with Tutu installed and the option to play a female Monk was there so I took it.

You can't normally. It requires a mod that places BG1 into the BG2 engine, thus allowing you to play a monk or a kit. The mod is called BG1Tutu.
