    Can u get it without going to the underdark. ive done the underdark and cant go back - but i really want that hammer.

    You can't get it without going back to the underdark unless you picked up the girdle of frost giant strength from the demon knights. There should be nothing that prevents you from going to the underdark if you are in level 6.
