Crashing when starting Multiplayer?

I have a problem. Whenever I try to start a multi game, it just says searching for network protocols, then crashes to desktop. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Try starting a different type of multiplayer game if you're trying to create a multiplayer game to make your own party. If you're actually playing online or with friends I can't help you...

Try Serial, it has worked for me on many different computers.

I've had a lot of problems with the multi-player capability for playing on-line as well. Make sure that the cache setting in the BGConfig is equal to or higher than the required amount (250mb) - I set mine to 300mb and that stopped it from crashing.

Your frame rate also has to match the frame rates of everyone you're playing with exactly. But that usually doesn't cause any problems until you've connected with someone. How far in the set-up do you get before it crashes?

I don't get anywhere. It justy crashes as soon as I press connect.
