completing quests in chapter order?

    I just killed Bodi and am about to report back to Aaron of the Shadow Thief Guild who, supposedly is going to take me to Imoen. I still have many quests that I haven't finished yet from chapter 2 like the murderer in the bridge area, etc. Should I complete these quests before I rescue Imoen? Or will I still have the ability to complete these former quests? I'm afraid that if I go back to Aaron to report it's going to take me to a new area and I won't be able to complete the previous quests.

    Minor Spoiler:

    If you report back to thieves, you WILL be able to complete the other quests.....but not for a long time. That's about all I can say without spoiling it even further.

    You can go to Linvail, get lots of XP, and then say that he must wait. This way, you'll be able to complete all other quests.

    Tough Aran Linvail will say you must hurry as you don't have much time. Don't worry, I don't think something bad will occur if you delay him too long, feel free to finish other quests, OR rescue Imoen at once thus let her enjoy the additional xps for unfinished quests, once you finish them with Imoen ofcourse.

    so i am free to complete other quests after Imoen?? I have quite a few..

    to Harbourboy, when you said I don't have a lot of time, how much time do i have? if you could say without spoiling anything (^_^)

    Actually, I meant it will be a long time before you will be able to come back and complete the quests. There are pros and cons to both approaches. Just go without whatever feels right from a roleplaying point of view and see how it works out.
