I dislike the way that "Online Adventures" forum is in a section apart from the specific game it's discussing, and how we can't discuss Multiplayer SOA/TOB under the SOA/TOB forums. To me, that is counter-intuitive, and makes for a mixed up Online Adventures section. It would be easier for the Baldur's Gate players to talk about Baldur's Gate issues in the Baldur's Gate forums, IMO.

My request is to allow posts about Multiplayer in the TOB and SOA forums. It's not like there is too much traffic there to handle the influx of 1 or 2 multiplayer questions a week, and the person would have a better chance of getting an answer (larger reading population).

My 2 cents, hope it's worth something, at least for your consideration.

Thanks for the great web site.

Actually, only very specific multiplayer/online posts get moved to OA; read the forum description for more info. I know it's counter-intuitive, but it's done on purpose, because more or less the same kind of questions related to the technical side of online playing get posted, so having them all in one place makes it easier for people to look up previously posted issues, and probably find an answer to the same question they'd post themselves. There's no better way of doing this unfortunately.

As for the argument about more people reading one forum and there being more chance of an answer - we can't go by that, for obvious reasons. If we did, you could argue in favour of having a single forum to discuss all games, and there'd be tons of people posting in it all over. SP has over 30 forums, so we expect people to move around the boards, not stay locked in a single forum... consider it an incentive to expand your horizons. ;)
