Upon entering the Chult Temple the Yaun-Ti attack my party despite them equipping the initiate robes (my paladin enters the temple invisible). My party consists of:
    Human Level 13 Paladin
    Human Level 13 Monk
Wild Elf Level 3 Druid / 10 Ranger
    Lightfoot Halfling Level 13 Rogue
    Moon Elf Level 13 Wizard
Shield Dwarf (Lathander) Level 13 Cleric

After clearing out the chult, I did go back to Kuldahar and get healed.
I would appreciate any ideas on why the Yaun-Ti are attacking me when I enter in disguise.
    Thanks,
    Pokchop

[IMG] I'd say an offensive effect, like the bard's Siren's Yearning, or a cleric's Undead Turning could be the culprit. Maybe you have an item that has an external effect, and unequipping it would help.
I also heard that paladins are unable to wear the robes in some situations, but my mix-ins never had any trouble with that. And of course, don't let the paladin do the talking, since they won't lie, even for subterfuge.
But what you're saying, is that the Chultians attack on sight. So somehow the game isn't registering that your party is fully hidden.

Maybe it's because your paladin is too proud to use disguise and therefore doesn't keep quite while he's invisible.

Next time you could try exporting your paladin when sneaking into the temple and reimporting him afterwards.

If you add one level of another class to the paladin he won't refuse the robes either.

I read in one of the guides here at SP, that you should keep your paladin near the entrance door, as out of sight as possible, while inside the temple. Never tried this myself because my Paladin always has some multiclass.

I never succeeded that with a pure paladin.

In my run throughs my paladin couldn't wear the robes and even if I left him at the entrance, out of sight, the Yuan-Ti attacked.

I suspect that there's no difference if the pure paladin is invisible or not.

So I let my other partymembers kill my paladin, and resurrected him when I finished all the quests in the Temple, and the time had came to attack the Yuan-Ti.

An interesting solution, but you might not like missing out on XP for your paladin. Maybe doing the quests is best, but don't attack anything yet.
I'm guessing that the Aura of Courage is responsible, because my 1 level mix-ins don't have any problems.

It's not bad if the paladin misses a few XP less than the rest of the party.
