    when i play the game, i only hear a second or two portion of what people say, the game still registers them as talking though...i dont think its my sound card because it plays all other sounds just right except when i am playing BG...if anyone else has had this problem, please tell me how you fixed it...

    You mean the console says there talking but you hear not evything that you can see tehre? That's normal..... Sometimes you hear just a part of what they say.

    yea, thats it...i guess...i hear only a bit of the xvart war cry and half of the dying sound. it sounds kinda funny but i dont like it. i am downloading directx.8 right now and im hoping that will help if not fix it it entirely...
