[IMG] I'm gonna go through BG2 SoA + ToB again, and can't pick a class - how unusual.

I'm thinking of going thief for three reasons:
    * Jan is the only one who's capable of gaining thief levels through the entire game
    * Playing with a good party, which I never do completly, with NPCs I've never played with through all. That excludes Jan by far, since I always have him.

    I'm gonna have:
    Nalia
    Imoen
Cernd/Anomen (what a choice, too morons - good classes never the less) so I got the casting part clear.
and Minsc and perhaps Valygar, not sure. Not sure what to go myself though. Was thinking of Kensai/Thief, though I just played through with a Blade, and those two classes feels very close. I'm gonna need more fighters too in ToB, since they kick every mages' ass there.

Now with that background, does anyone have a class that you really enjoyed, apart from plain thieves, mages and fighters? Any tip what to go? Will Imoen do as thief later on?

Of course I could go multi and create an extra thief, though I want all NPC conversations :)

Hmmm, it seems that you're kinda weak in melee.
I would perhaps suggest that took either a Dwarfen Wizardslayer or an Elven Barbarian(yeah, laugh here, but he's cool :) ). I think you will have a lot of fun :D

    Cavalier. That's what I always play ;)

Barbarian could be interesting, maybe also monk. They say monks can score 84 damage in one blow. Wait, my brother has seen a screen of 91 damage done by a monk in one blow.

Cavalier or Inquisitor. You end up using the dispel magic ability in nearly every mage battle, and the cavalier has a few small, if nifty bonuses. And last, but certainly not least, you can use Carsomyr.
