    I have looked EVERYWHERE! and I cannot find out how to open the console in Planescape. Do I add cheats=1 to the ini file, just like BG? then CTRL+Spacebar to bring up the console? I've seen somewhere some stuff about having to use a code that looks like CheatersDoProsper, but does the CLUAC stuff work (like AddGold("3000") or SetCurrentXP("20000"). Someone please help a casual gamer who doesn't have bales of time to fight through the game!

    [IMG] You can't open the console in Torment, plain and simple. :D

    The only way you'll edit anything is with any of the editors you can find on SP.

    Depaara, that's my prediciment, as well.

    Use a Torment editor. It's been a long time since I used one, but there are a couple of grapical interface ones that do ok. I believe the TeamBG one is good, and *stable*. I remember using one that corrupted my savegame.

    Anyways, the one weapon you want is an Axe. It's the overpowered "testing" weapon. I forget the exact name of it; Extremist mentioned it once. I think it was called the Executioner, or something.

    And I hate to tell you this, but hammering through Torment is a tough job. Your entire progress is dependent on the dialogues. You must get the information out of dialogue paths, and more often than not, you'll have to have retreived and object, or found your way through something or another. You will be changing areas an intense amount, even if you have a walkthrough; so crank that "cache" setting in the .ini file all the way up.

    Use Near Infinity;

    It can edit anything in the game, including anything in your saved games. Basically, everything that is known about Torment's files is included in the program as something you can edit.

    The weapon is the eviscerator(sp?).
