I'm stuck in a module - the dood I have to kill is non-hostile and I'm not a caster, so I can't AoE him. Is there a way to CTRL+Y him like in BG2 or some such?

Alternatively, I can use a Chaotic dialogue option in which that dood gets attacked by an ally and then if I kill him, I can grab his key. So then I could "read" that key's ID - if it's possible to read the ID of an item you have instead of the usual direction, i.e. giving yourself an item by code. This means I could write down the code, reload, cheat myself that key and leave the dood alone, finishing the quest anyway.

The module is called Moonshadows. It's a great module, so no complaints against it, though I'd like to finish this subquest.

while it might go against your rp, why not just use the chaotic option? also AoEing none hostiles wont normally work (well it really depends on how they are flagged in the tool-set, but normally NPC's are flagged as immortals, when not set as immortals, you should have the option to attack by right clicking them)

Equester is right about AoEing neutral creatures.

I don't know of any other option to get the Keys ID than to open the module in the Toolset, I'm afraid.
