Chapter 2 Problem (spoilers)

    [​IMG] I'm stuck at the end of Chapter 2 in the Ice Temple of Auril. I read some of the game walkthroughs, so I believe the problem is a bug within the game itself. My party was fighting Oria, one of the high priestesses of Auril when she detonated her staff of power and disappeared. According to the game walkthrough, she is supposed to reappear in her ethereal form and resume attacking the party. However, she never reappeared for me! I've finished everything else in this chapter but cannot move on due to this problem. Any solutions or cheat codes that could fix this bug? Thanks for all your help, guys and girls. :)

    Either get the ease of use mod and teleport further into the game, or keep looking for Oria- she's spawned in some weird places in the level for me before.... Like in the battle squares room. I believe she makes her way towards your party after she spawns, so she may be snagged.

    Yeah, I have never heard of her vanishing completely. She does go to the Battlesquares Room then she come back and hunts down your team (usually). Then you have to go the Battlesquares room to take on ethereal form yourself and kill her. By the way, I have played this game many times and I have never had to use that teleport function (or other cheats) to get past any section of the game. I'm not sure why some people have these problems but other people don't.

    Sometimes it is not a bug in the game but some kind of spyware that snuck on to your machine. I had a lot of problems with another game. Got my machine cleaned up and the problems went away. Don't assume that because you have a spyware blocker that something can't sneak through. I run a clean-up program frequently. I know of others that have had the same problem with games. After spending frustrating hours/days trying to "fix" the game they have found out it was spyware.

    Well... if it isn't spyware my suggestion would be to make your way down to the Battle Squares room. If it's not a bug, glitch, spyware, or any other problem then she's bound to meet you along the way when you reach that room.

    Sometimes I think walkthroughs assume certain conditions have been met or something.
