Ok so I have a serious chronic restarting problem, but I have decided finally on how I want to play through the entire saga. I plan on using the "Classic" Party of PC, Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Minsc, and Dynaheir. But I'm not happy with the class combinations of the party. Its just too boring and incomplete for me. I have decided to use the party but change the NPC's classes to better fit either their character or the party in general. I was just wondering I could get some ideas on what to change them to. I don't frown on powergaming and 'breaking' the rules (hey the game already does it), but I do not like cheap and cheese tactics.

    So what I was thinking:

PC Berserker (to be dual classed into a mage in BG2) or Ranger dual classed into a Cleric. I do want him to be human.
Imoen Swashbuckler maybe dualed into a mage around level 5
Jaheira Fighter/Druid maybe change her into a Druid Kit to change things up
Khalid Vanilla Fighter, Archer, or Fighter/Thief to help thieving if I dual Imoen.
    Minsc Barbarian
Dynaheir Wild Mage, Specialist Mage, Cleric/Mage, Sorcerer, any other suggestions?

BTW I do not have TtSC.

I've always been a proponent of Minsc the Barbarian.
The avenger kit is quite fitting for Jaheira.
Dynaheir would make a great sorcerer (her personality does not suit wild mage much).
Khalid's personality makes archer quite reasonable (especially with a druid wife -- it makes more sense he's a ranger). Although I've read in places he was originally going to be a fighter/mage.
    I SK'ed Imoen to be a swahbuckler/mage -- it works quite well.

    I went with

PC Berserker (to be dual classed into a mage in BG2)
Imoen Swashbuckler maybe dualed into a mage around level 5
Jaheira Fighter/Druid with the avenger kit. She gets a few semi-new spells and some unclear armor restrictions (she can't wear ankeg armor, but can wear Plat)
    Khalid Archer
    Minsc Barbarian
    Dynaheir Sorcerer

There seems to be a problem with the Sorcerer in tutu or with my mods because when she levels up her Thaco drops to 0. I changed it to 20 like its suppose to be with Shadowkeeper, but its still weird. I even tested it with a PC sorcerer and the same thing happened.

However I'm considering changing her back to a Specialist mage. I'm not to keen on Invoker (the reason why I didn't keep her the same anyways). Maybe an Illusionist or a Conjurer.
