Chamber of Battle

    I`m having trouble in this chamber. I kill the Iron monk and he`s lying in the middle of the blue pool.
    When I go over and turn the switch to finish the job, a message comes up saying it`s protected and needs a special magic to use it.
    I can kill the Iron Monk, but how do I polish him off?
    Help, please?

    You sure that you are pulling the right switch? There are two switches. Once the monk step on the blue pool, one of the switch will glow for a brief time (the southern one for the first time) and that is what you need to pull.

    Kill the first monk on platform, pull the lever at southeast corner. Go to the door at north wall. Kill the monk on platform, the first one will also come. Kill him on the other platform, pull the lever at northeast corner of first room.

    Thanks guys. I managed to blunder my way through that one. Now I`m stuck in the Immolation chamber.
    It looks as though I`ll have to cheat to get past this one.
    I`ve turned the level down to easy and I`m still getting fryed.

    I've found an easy way to win the Chamber of Immolation...If you have a cleric or anyone with the spells "Protection From Fire" and "Animate Dead", send he/she to finish the job. As soon as he/she is teleported to the chamber, casts "Protection From Fire" on yourself. Then, quickly casts as many "Animate Dead" spells as possible and run away from the two monks. Let the undeads you summoned finish the job. Meanwhile, all you have to do is evade the Flame Pillars until those two are dead.
