    Most Promising Tactics RPG Chains of Freedom Preview

    It's undoubtedly one of the most interesting and promising RPG of 2025. We're talking about Chains of Freedom, a tactical RPG developed by Nordcurrent and set to release soon on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

    We had the chance to try the demo in advance - now available on Steam - to test its gridless combat system, exploration mechanics, story, and much more.

    The game takes us to a post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe, inevitably reminiscent of Mutant Year Zero. Not only does it share a similar setting, but it also borrows some gameplay mechanics from the beloved tactical RPG.
