My evil party is picking up some NPC's that I hadn't played with before with my other parties. My main character is an evil sorcerer, which has affected things a bit, and it has been hard to find a good balance until recently.

Current Party:
Me (lvl 11 Sorc)
Korgan
Jaheira
Cerrnd
Viconia
Jan

Since there is only one evil tank, and the other single class fighter types are good, I've been using Jaheira as a tank. But, currently I can use Korgan as a tank, with Jaheira and Cerrnd in Werewolf form helping. It seems to work well for the moment. I will probably replace one of the druids with Edwin at some point, but spell casting is not really a lack with this party, and I think this party will be easier to use at the moment.

 

I just started a new party, with Me: Rah'Verahn (Half-Orc Berserker, because there are just to many evil fighters!)

Anomen (Well, I currently have Jaheira, but I'm now at the copper coronet, and I just need to change her with Anomen.
I actually wanted to be an archer, but he has to be good, and I wanted this time an evil aligned party plus Korgan is the only fighter in the game and since I'm not so good at casting the right spell at the right time, I like to fight with tanks instead of wizards, although I have two, because they can do pretty much damage, if all works fine.

Geez, that Wild Mage in ToB is nothing for me!

How do you get Renal and this priest in your party? Probably cheating?

 

Hey, that would be cool. Renal in your party. He must be like, a level 25 thief or something, hehe. I have Jaheira still with me, because when I talked to Anomen, he asked me if I were on adventure for the good or for the evil. When I said evil, he said it was foolish to cross his path, and that I was going to die if I didn't tell him right that moment I was going to better my life.
NO WAY ANOMEN!!!
So I still have Jaheira, but maybe I'll get Cernd in her place. He's kinda cool I guess.
At least he has a much better voice than Jaheira, since she lets those R's Rrrrrroll

 

Yes technically it is cheating to have Renal Bloodscalp in ones party (using control + Q)BUT as I have said many a time it is an honourable cheat. I needed an evil thief. Renal at level 16 was perfect. Since he doesn't level up for about 1000 years it balances out. Mae'ver on the other hand was too powerful but his Priest made a handy 6th party member. I'm still looking to replace this guy with a more tank orientated person. Any suggestions? (nobody stupidly powerful eg. Irenicus and also must be able to level up and be of suitible class/ kit etc.)

For an evil party, I always liked to make an evil thief- but then I relized that I hated the thief stronghold with passion- so Renal makes a good other thief, if I'm cheating. Having my main character being a Priestess of Talos/Fighter was nice, though- she was backed up with Vicky, Edwin was spell casting, Korgan tanking, and Sarvok will join them. Until then, I drag around party members until I ruin their lives (Made Anomen CN, screwed up things with the Harpers, killed Qyale, turned the druidgrove in to a poisioned evil place, turned Valygar in to the wizards...). 'Twas fun. =D
