cd problem

    i have a bit if a problem. i have recently bought bg1 with expansion. And When i try to go to The friendly arms inn the computer ask for cd2. ok i think and put in cd2 then it says that its the wrong disc... anyone now how to fix it? It also asks for cd6 if i have the wrong disc in when i start the game and i only got 3 discs with the game.

    OK, unless they reduced the number of discs you get with Baldur's Gate, there should be 5 in the original game, and 1 more for the expansion, for a total of 6. If you only have 3, take it back and ask for a refund/another copy. I never heard of only 3 discs for BGI.

    I think all the discs are there that i need beacuse in the cds its a map for every cd.

    [​IMG] Aldeth the Foppish Idiot, BG: Original Saga comes on only 3 CDs (BG & ToSC), so yes, they have reduced the size. The game was needlessly inflated to 5 CDs originally. So if you have BG: OS you're fine with 3 CDs.

    Looks like a configuration problem though, carried over from the original version. You could try each of the CDs to see if it will take one, or do a full install. You shouldn't have any problems that way.
