Hi. I just got Carsomyr and Anomen can't use it. No one in my party can.
    My party:
    Me-plain fighter
    Minsc
    Anomen
    Jaheira
    Nalia
    Aerie
Should I go look for Keldorn at the Radiant Heart? That's where he said he would be when I didn't pick him up for the Eyeless quest. I really want to use this sword. I thought since Anomen became a member of Radiant Heart like Keldorn he would be able to use it. Seems weird that that only one npc in the game can use that sword.
    What am I missing here?
    Thanks for reading.

only Palidins can use the sword, and Anomen is still a fighter/cleric if you check the character record screen.

    Thanks for responding.
Yeh, I know An's class. Guess I was hoping the knight thing would somehow enable him to use the sword. Live and learn.
I guess I need Keldorn, but I have heard he will leave the party after a bit to go home to his family. Is that true?
    Thanks again.

Yeah, but you will be the one who decide whether you want him to stay with his family forever or stay a while and then join you later. Play along, and you will find out soon.

Corsomyr and the Girdle of Frost Giant Strength (set str to 21) makes Keldorn unstoppable. Throw the Guantlets of Dexterity on him to get his AC down where you want it, give him as many magic items that raise his magic resistance as you can and then sit back and watch him DOMINATE! His True Seeing and Dispel Magic (which works at twice his level I might add!) really make him useful. Give him any items to boost his charisma (Plate of Balduran works good) and make him your party leader. If you havn't been to the Underdark yet then be sure to pick up Kaliug's (sp?) Amulet of Magic Resistance (+10% MR) to give to Keldorn.

    Thanks guys.
I love Keldorn. I put the gauntlets of dexterity on him but I don't have that girdle yet.

Yeah my PC is a Paladin, so I myself use Carsomyr!

Yeah my PC became a real powerful individual after finding Carsomyr, and then finding Hill Giant Strength belt (STR: 20) and always having a good number of Extra Healing potions on myself since I'm always at the front of every battle.

Tabari that's my exact party I had before I went to find Imoen! Before that, I only did one quest without that lineup (Planar Sphere, and that's only because Valygar is a requirement for that quest)

    @Neeraj...
Girdle of Hill Giant Str is 19, Stone giant is 20.

Personally, the only thing that beats the Holy Avenger is Crom dualled with CF...!!

[IMG] Thanks Mystra's Chosen! My PC has Stone Giant Strength, and Jaheira has Hill Giant strength.

I had Yoshimo wielding Celestial Fury (but he is dead now in my game! :D ), and just a couple of days ago I got Crom Faeyr made for Anomen.

Which NPC has both Katana and War Hammer proficiencies? Or is your own PC doing that?

My Kensai/Mage has fun doing that, but I don't like playing a K/M dualling Crom and CF much because it's too damn easy! Also, I don't have ToB, so I get Crom so late in the game that it's kind of a waste. Sometime I'm going to solo a Kensai with Prof points in Hammer and Kat, then get Crom as soon as possible. I really think it's a shame that Crom is so hard to get that you need to be high level in order to get it. Of course, if you're playing Anomen then it comes along about the right time (when Anomen's attacks start to suck).
