    [IMG] Hey what's up everyone?

I just started BG2:SoA and ToB again, and I'm having a bit of trouble even though I have the patch from the Bioware website.

My trouble is when the dwarf messenger comes up to Aarie to tell her Quayle needs to speak with her, but each time I return to the circus, Aarie and Quayle just have some useless chit-chat instead of receiving the quest, and they keep on having the same conversation over and over again!

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Quayle tells you about the Haer Dalis quest so maybe if you've already done this one the game assumes you've already heard about it from Quayle.

He doesn't have anything useful to tell you either way.

I'm not sure Realis Shae and her bards spawn in the theater until Quayle gives you the quest.
Of course I've never gone theree until I *had* the quest, so maybe I'm wrong.

Normally they're there. I don't think I've ever bothered to go back to Quayle and I've always done thĂȘ planar prison quest.

I had that problem too. Don't know how to fix it, but you can just do the quest anyways. Just go to the playhouse. Nothing else really happens anyway.

Or if you want to cut the middle man out, just go and rescue Haer Dalis and then head to the Playhouse. Raelis will show up and reward you whether you've spoken to her before or had anything to do with Quayle.
