Can't load NWN2

    Remove all ads!
    I just patched it, and it gave me an error whenever the loader was about to launch the game. I reinstalled it then updated it to the latest patch and restarted my computer, the error is still popping up. Is this a problem with the new patch?

    this error has been repported for some people with the latest patch, make it absolutly sure that you have patch 1.673 and not one of the older versions of patch 1.6 and check out the official forum on www.bioware.com

    I myself have no problem with the latest patch, so im not sure why it bugs for some.

    Tal, if the error gave me something more than 30 pages worth of technical spec's, I would post it here, unfortunately I just get a windows "error report".

    I patched from 1.05.xxx today. The patcher loaded 1.06.792 (50M) then loaded 1.06.793 automatically. Game loaded just fine.

    Given the history of this game producer, I am guessing that the first release was the 'Whoopsy' version and the latest release is the 'Blush blush' version. :>)

    .792 indicates unofficial 1.06 version, while .793 is the official release
