Can't find Firkraag

've tried resting and going back. i even tried resting where he should be. no luck. his little mage guy is there. the guy with the key to free the girl. i had to force attack him to get the key. hmmm. didn't try pickpocket.

what is the code for "summoning" firkraag?

thanks for the code. unfortunately when i summoned him all i would get is a short red flame standing on end. probably because of some mode i have installed. maybe the improved firkraag

i've run into another problem as well. now i can't find bodhi. any idea what her code is? i've tried giving one of my characters the rynn lanthorn using shadowkeeper but i can't find the item in the misc. list.
also when i go there drizzt and company aren't there either even though i just ran into them and asked drizzt for help. he agreed to meet me there (like he always does) but when i get there he's a no show

i get the feeling i'm gonna have to re-install the game without some of the modes i currently have installed.

Sounds like something is corrupted. So ya, I'd say a reinstall and more careful mod choice is in order. Also, what order did you install your mods in?

Did you install the official patches and G3 fixpack/Balderdash? If not, it could explain the corrupted files.

Improved Firkraag could be the culprit, but that doesn't explain Bodhi's dissapearance. That probably indicates that certain triggers or globals haven't fired. If that's the case, who knows what else is corrputed in your game. I recommend a reinstall as well.

call me blind. i can't find either of them. i've looked in the Official Patches & Miscellanea but don't see them. i also looked in the mods section with no luck. am i simply missing them?

Probably both.

Fixpack for the gamebugs etc. You can do without the OBC (optional but cool) items of the fixpack if you don't like them.

Tweaks for ... tweaks ie unlimited arrowstacking.

 

I have the same problem, Firkraag is just a blob of fire, even after the fix pack I loaded my game and still no luck, I lack the proper programs to look into the cre file but is it possible the person who made this messed up the cre file on the edit?

 

My firkraag is messed up like that too, but the only mods we have in common are Improved Firkraag and Weimer Item Upgrade. I installed the fixpack and all patches beforehand too.

It sucks because it made me stop playing, despite the fact that I loved the run I was on.

 

This might help (perhaps): uninstall all mods (including BG2 Fixpack), then install Baldurdash from baldurdash.org (instead of BG2 Fixpack), and the other mods you want. Then restart the game. In brief, your savegame might store something that gets solved when you restart the game.

 

Nothing, I found a viewer online and checked out the firkrag02.cre file and its jacked up it has no stats or anything on it but the paladin specific items it drops, as well as the usual items (scales, gold, etc etc) if there is any program out there that can allow you to edit those files can someone direct me to it please. Thanks for the advice by the way.
