    *Spoilers*

You give the lantern to Eldan (elf general) and you should be teleported to a large tree trunk in the Norther Forest map. He will open the way to Suldanessallar, so go through like a doorway.

SotM is in the Bridge district and you have to beat the Twisted Rune gang (female mage, specifically) to get it.

And a warning: the Twisted Rune game pwns.

(And his name is Jon Irenicus, not ickerus)

In this case, it means that the Twisted Rune is one of the hardest encounters in SoA! Seriously, it has a Hive Mother (powerfull Beholder), a lich, a backstabbing thief, a druid, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other enemies. They are all high level, and are all in a very small space...which you can't escape from unless you kill a certain one of them and know what you're doing with what you find on it's corpse.

The Twisted Rune is NOT meant for low level parties. :nono: :rolling:

Pwns essentially is the same as 'owns', but a little stronger. It is pronounced similarly, except with a 'p' in front of it. And yes, Twisted Rune is very difficult.

    Backstabbing thief? Druid?

    In my game there is:

    1 Lich
    1 Beholder
    1 Mage
    1 Vampire, and
    1 Fighter, wearing nothing.

And that's all. No Thief or Druid there? :hmm:

Apparently "pwns" originated from a mispelling of the word "own" in one of the Quake games. At least that's what I've heard. It's become quite wide-spread. Being too old to know such things is, frankly, something to be proud of. ;)
