Can't cast spell, "Beyond sorcerer casting ability".

I am in need of help. I have just started to play Icewind dale 2 and there is something i cant reallly understand.

I´v created my own party, including two sorceres. And I love the game, but there is one thing I don´t understand. My two Sorcers can´t cast any spells.

I know a sorcerer don´t need to memorize a spell, and if I look in my "spell-book" i find mw three spells on the right column (Known Spells), but there is none on the Momorized spells column. And it says: Spell slots available 5/5.

And if I (in the "game mode") press on the "Cast spell" button, everyone is grey. It three spells and 5 of each spell but they are all grey. When I hold above them it says "Beyond sorcerer casting ability". Now I thought that was just because I was level one or something, but now I´m level 3 and it still says the same.

But if I pick up a spell, and try to use is as a quick item it works... Please help me, otherwise I have two sourcerers that is no good for the rest of the game.

And yes, I have been trying to sleep, doesn´t help. I have even tried to have no weapons in my hands, or no armor but nothing seems to work.

 

Do you have sufficient charisma? Sorcerers use charisma for casting spells, and you need 10 + spell level to cast the spell.

 

Since you've just started:

Give all the items on those two sorcs to other characters, delete them, and make two new sorcs with 18 CHA (20 if possible).
