Can you believe this ???

    After several weeks of nightmare fighting with all sort of enemies at normal difficulty in Icewind Dale 2, I arrived at a point where the game CRASHES :( !!! Full of bugs maybe :confused: , damn it, tried also the latest patch 2.01, the same happens. The level where I arrived is: Dragon's Eye, and the problems start from the level where I have to rescue those people to the south. Can't open the damn door, whatever I try: to break it, unlock by force. So than I can't free the prisoners, If I teleport myself inside, I DO NOT FIND ANY prisoners, again: be damn if I know what's happening.
    Can somebody help me to finish dragon's eye level ?
    I can't believe the weeks that I lost for NOTHING... :confused: :mad:

    Well, is the game crashing or not? First you say the game crashes, then the description of your problem doesn't involve a crash...

    Anyway, for the problem you described, you need to go north across the bridge to the torture chamber and turn the knob on the right side at the head of the rack. It won't be highlighted like other things typically are whe you press <ALT> (or whatever the key is), you just have to run your cursor over the rack until you find it.

    Is it just me, or does dragons eye seem to be full of bugs and mistakes? were black isle on a lunch break and some little kid came in and made it while they were eating? i dont know, just put up with it.

    Now I really don't know what's wrong again. Damn it, my only character, cause the other have been killed (unfortunately). So, at level three where is that bridge that must be repaired somehow, the chamber to the north where is that eye of sss.... I can't get in, well, wiht ctrl+J, I teleported the member directly north of the chamber. So then where is that lever to repair the bridge uh ? It's not working as previous, where I had to search manally for that locked door, (you know with the prisoners...) ? What else can I try ? And BTW, I can't even transform me into a histachii, who will go then to push the lever ? It's only one person that left to me. And where EXACTLY is the lever to repair the bridge ?

    Sergiu - Maybe you need to pay more attention, or read a walkthrough. You can make a weaker version of the Histachii brew that is only temporary in effect. In this level, you need to basically do the quests Nheero (the guy you saved in the prison) asks you to do in order to progress.

    Behind the Eye is a room containing a shelf at the back with candles on it. Push the shelf and the bridge lowers.

    Yes, I know that shelf that's behind the eye, but when I push/open it says: as you reach for one of the candles on this shelf you realize that they're not real.... so that I push it for 5-10-50 times and it does not lower the bridge. You have to believe me, I already forgot about to transform the hero into a histachii, just I teleported him with ctrl+J and tried several times to push the shelf... the bridge is not lowering....as for the walk-through guides don't worry, have a look at this: http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IWD2/Walkthrough/index.php

    So, any idea what do I have to do, to lower the bridge ?

    Perhaps it only works when you're a Histachii. It's possible that teleporting there isn't sufficient, but I know for a fact that the bridge lowers when you push that shelf if you got in there as a transformed Histachii.

    Blackthorne, Once again, you are Correct. It DOES only work as a Histachi, That's part of the Game's Design. Teleporting in there does get the message about the Candles not being Real.

    Neways. Just get the sabotaged Histachi Brew, Chug it down like a Real man, (Try using a wizard or Sor to do it, Too HIgh Con, and it won't work)

    And go in, and hit the switch like a Lizard Man. Then the bridge will Be crossable, (BTW: It's Not Broken, It's just up, Think of a bridge over a Moat)

    Then Make sure you have your Battle Garb On... Good Luck..
