Cambion vs. Tiefling

    It seems interesting to me that a Cambion (who is far more "strange" in appearance then a Tiefling) gets a +2 to his charisma score (or for that matter a Balor gets a +6 to his charisma score) when these characters are far more difficult to interact with because of their strange appearance then the lowly Tiefling and their -2 charisma modifier. I really don't understand how a cambion and a human could produce a race that has a negative charisma modifier, it seems some how inconsistant.

    Dunno, maybe simply because the cambion has an incredibly strong force of personality (s/he is half demon, for crying out loud, they're not someone a shrink can just hypnotize with an old watch), and the tiefling is just stuck with appearance most people find somewhat... disturbing. Besides, can't the cambion change form somewhat?
