bugged entangle spell in bg 1 tutu/ other bugs

    this is my first time using bg1 tutu and other bg1 mods. surprisingly, the install turns out to be ok. the game started fine and the graphics are much better. however major/minor bugs soon come along and they are quiet annoying...

    the first and biggest one is with the entangle spell. in my game, when a entangle is casted, it lasted way too long, usually at least 5 min. real time. it is also non-savable. i can see in the dialog window that my party members are making saves, but they can't get out no matter what they roll. furthermore, the on person effect hold on eventhrough the area effect expires shortly according to the spell description. i've also noticed that the entangle spell gives a "drain level" effect (the little blue spark animation effect when a vampire attack) on every one entangled once a while, something i've never seen with the normal entangle in bg2.

    other minor bugs i've noticed:
    -the ring of protection+1 now have a "charge" in the use item icon. and if you use it, it will disappear!
    -the prologue's quests in candlekeep is not recorded in the bg2 style journal(quest+journal style). there is no prologue page at all
    -the map looks wierd:p
    -the walking speed adjustment introduced by tutu/tutu fix does not work most of the time. the time it worked was when garrick lead me to silke. it worked b/c my party walked automatically.
    -new character finch the gnome walks faster than the others in my party.
    -when gorion fights savarok, my pc does not run away.

    It is generally better to post such queries on a modding forum, particularly the one for the mod in question - more likely to get faster and more accurate replies. http://forums.pocketplane.net

    A few comments:

    - I don't use the Walking Speed component. I prefer the faster speeds of BG2. It works by patching all the creatures in the game, so if you install something which adds creatures (e.g. Finch) after it then these new creatures will not have been affected... Uninstall it, then install it last in your mod stack if you want to see the effects. You'll probably find the same thing with Mur'Neth (who incidentally had a new version out yesterday, v4, so use that if you're not already).

    - For similar reasons, the Tweak Packs work best as the last mods you install.

    - The map is the BG1 style so looks odd in the BG2 interface. There are mods to make it look like the BG2 style, though. I notice you installed that component; if you didn't start a new game that could be why you think it is weird. Or that could just be your opinion of the BG2 style one, whatever.

    - The Journal thing is because the Prologue is Chapter 0, and the Journal pages start at Chapter 1. The beta of Tutu 6 bumps numbers up by 1, so you will see entries in the Prologue. Tutu 6 is still a beta, though.
