I think it would be cooler if the Knock spell not only allowed you to knock open doors but "knock" enemies with the force as well. Kind of like the Ring of the Ram, but maybe for a little less damage since it's a Lvl 2 mage spell. I just imagine that the same force that can be used to knock a door open can knock the wind out of some opponents. (It would be hard to knock the wind out of an Air Elemental though ;) )
And then on up in about Lvl 8 have Power Word Knock...lol...which could be a nasty area effect spell taking the breath right out of your oponents and knocking them back away from you. Sounds cheesy at first, but it could be cool.

I don't think they are going to mess around with knock, it has been a standard spell in D&D for at least 2 decades or so now, and not changed much if at all. Perhaps when they are designing their own spell system from scratch.

[IMG] There will be a few "Bigby" spells in ToB to satisfy you.
Knock could just as well have been named Open Lock, but Knock is shorter and spiffier, don't you think?

If all you can post is unrelated nonsense, don't bother.
