And they just keep coming, WW2 first person shooting that is ... or not.

Well, its graphical department is not above there with Half-life 2. In FPS games, gameplays are almost the game, stories are pretty linear, the only thing all FPS should boosts is the graphic. Although Brother in Arms doesn't have the most realistic thing in the market, but it also, unlike Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault or FarCry, doesn't require a over the moon, top of the line quality, state of the art computer to run the eye pleasing graphical setting smoothly.

The gameplay of this FPS is something rather new. You now control a squad, nothing new. You issue command to the squad, semi new. The key of playing this game is supressing fire. Every single situation requires you to pause, take a look at the overall area, issue your command, perform supressing fire and eventually flank them.

Even your eagle eye Counter-strike hot shot cannot be an one man army in this game. i tried. Aiming down doesn't give you a sure shot. You will miss more the any other FPS you have played in this game. The engine of the game makes it so, just in real life, i think. With supressing fire, enemy "morale" can be decreased until a point where can cannot fire at you accurately and that is when you attack them and hope one of you shoot hit them. The game goes for you and your team, although you will never know your own morale until it is too late.

In fact, this game is just like Commandos.

If you still want more WW2 themed game, if you like to slove puzzle and play first person shoothing, this innovative game is really something in recent months.

I got this game a little while ago.

I've only tried it on hard so far, and I really like it. It's pretty realistic, I think. I especially like how they recreated Normandy right down to the hedgerows, when you play this game you almost ARE in Normandy.
I'd really recommend this game to any fans of realistic FPS games and/or WW2 buffs.
