Broken Quest can't proceed

    Hey everyone

    I am new here so hello to everyone. I just started playing IWD2 and I have a problem. Chapter one is all done and I hopped into the ship and headed off. Went through the crash and got the quest to collect the 7 ingredients. Well after searching the map, I could not find a singel diamone or the Thyrm potion.
    I finally broke down and checked a guide and it said one diamond was in the locked box in the airship and one was in the druid village. I check both places and no diamonds and no thyrm potion. So now really pissed that the items were not there I got Dalekeeper and edited them into my inventory. I went to Oswald and place everything onto the table but when I talk to Oswald I only get the dialogue teling me to get the items. Is this a known bug or is my install screwed up or am I missing something. I can I use a console command to trigger the variable and what is it if I can? Thanks for any help. At the moment playing is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment.

    If I remember correctly, there are actually 2 types of diamond in the game. One is just a standard gem for selling, the other is used by Oswald to fix his ship. See if there is another, different diamond in the Gatekeeper program.

    You can proceed. That's not a critical quest.

    The thrym extract should be in the next area, full of ice walls. Rhemoraz drop them. There certainly should have been a diamond in Oswald's ship, but have a nose around in the ice temple; one of the vaults might have one.

    Do you perhaps the randomise items component of Weimer's ease of use mod? That might explain the missing items.

    Any diamond should work iirc. And you need 2 diamonds, perhaps you only put in one?

    You need to put that diary, spider slik, thrym potion, belladonna plant, iron piece, 2 diamonds and wood plank all on that table. Then there should be a flash and a message will appear that the mending spell has begun.

    I've never managed to get the belladonna without killing the druid.

    You get the potion when you kill a rehmoraz

    Yes I do have ease of use installed. I will go back and uninstall the randomize item part. I can things from the start if I have to. Thanks for the help so far. I will let you know if that works.
