Brand New-Bie Dilemma

    [​IMG] Im new to the game and im having difficulty finding information on what is the best course of actrion to take so i can level up my characters at the very beginning of the game. ive gone to DEKLO WOOD GROVE and killed the spiders, the only problem is i keep getting attacked while trying to rest/heal and i end up losing characters and/or dieing. ive read what walkthroughs i could find on the net and they all seem to only list the numerous short quests that one can choose to take on in Hommlet (which is somewhat dauting considering im not that familiar with the D&D universe as-is). might anyone have some suggestions as to how i should go about just beginning to lvl up my characters ?? basically, i dont know where to begin !! shouldnt i lvl up some before i go looking for Princess Tillahi and Sir Juffer via Black Jay ??
    any info is greatly appreciated

    Buy some basic melee weapons and head over to the evil merchants house and take them out. A couple of tanks next to the two merchants, don't worry about the 1st level fighter with them, with some spell backing, should handle them easily. Great experience for 1st level characters and great magic and other items to start your day off with!!!
