As the topic says, I'm trying to play on my own on my laptop with bots in Counterstrike - Source, as I could with CS1.6 and Condition Zero. Mostly, because my laptop doesn't have an internet connection, and my buddies who I usually play with are away.

Funny enough, I tried searching online like Google and stuff, but I couldn't come up with anything for bots in Source.

Does anyone who knows where I can get these help me out? I know its out there for a fact because a friend of mine in India actually had his system running with bots...but I can't get in touch with him at the moment... :(

    Help!

Not sure, but HalfLife2.net might have something about this. Just remember that the AI is, like in all games, very primitive.

Play something else I say. The bots in CS (haven't played with em' in source) are as smart as your run of the mill ants.

The bots are included in the game, just add CPU or computer controlled opponents in the 'Create game' dialoge box. It's pretty much the same as Condition Zero, but I'm not sure how that compares to CS1.6.

Oh...okay, because I have tried doing that through Source but I didn't really find the option to add AI bots directly, like I can in CS 1.6.

Yeah...I'm playing 1.6 already at the moment, but I play against human players in CS Source almost exclusively these days so I wanted to spend some time getting more acclimatised to the game by playing AI bots.

    Hmm...halflife2.net should prove informative.

    Thanks for the input guys.

umm I beleive that the command to add them is bot_add...bot_add_t or ct if you want all the bots on the other team
