[IMG] I visited Boom Chicago yesterday and I had a wonderfull evening. So, has anybody else ever visited Boom Chicago?

OK, there are probably two questions on your mind right now:
    1. What is Boom Chicago?
    2. Why would a non-dutchie see this show?

1: Boom Chicago is a comedy club in which improvisation plays a big role. They do sketches mostly based at what the audience yells. Besides doing funny scenes, they also make songs based on what the audience yells.

2: A lot of people who don't live in the Netherlands visit this show. A lot of Americans visit the show, but there are also a lot of English and Germans. The shows are all done by Americans and a lot of starting American comediens want to go to Holland for a year to play at Boom Chicago. It is thought of as a great honor to play at Boom Chicago and it may be the first step of a succesful career in comedy.

I didn't make this a pole, because the majority of people would vote that they never have seen the show or that they never have heard of the show. So, if you want to now what Boom Chicago is (or just want to have a laugh), watch this video: http://www.boomchicago.nl/Section/Videos/284 (your opinion about the video is also welcome) and if you ever come to Holland and visit Amsterdam, this is great way to spend the evening. (Although the tickets are not expensive, they are pretty hard to get.)

P.S. I hope this is not thought of as advertisement, because I am in no way involved with Boom Chicago, or the comediens that play there. I just want to share a great experience and recomment this to any dutchies or people that visit Holland. If this is thought of as advertisement and any of the mods think this has no place at the BoM, than I will not hold a grudge if it is removed.
