So, good ol' Bob died a while back, but his music has never died. My brother got addicted to it about 7 years ago...and now I am too. It has a really good beat, strong - meaningful lyrics, and sounds great when the volume is cranked up.

After a long night at work, listening to Bob Marley in the car on the drive home is just what I need to relax, while other song wake me up. Reggae has that effect on people I guess.

Anyone else listen to Bob or reggae music in general? :rolling:

Of course! Though I usually listen to folk and metal, I do like to listen to good 'oul Bob now and again.

Some of his songs are very depressing, not the lyrics but the feelings.

I'm wearing a Bob Marley t-shirt as I type this.

I love his stuff. I've gotten my son (who is 4) into his music. The music has a magical quality that is difficult to describe. :)

    Just great. :)
The songs always took me to higher spheres... and not only because we had been visiting the Netherlands beforehand. :p

Trenchtown Rock instantly gets to me whenever I listen to it.

Definately! There's nothing quite like Bob Marley to relax you - even when you're not doing the other thing that usually accompanies it ;)

It's definitely hard not to love Marley!! I got into him college and I've loved him ever since. It's relaxing yet powerful music.
