Korgan told Aerie off and she said if Korgan wasn't gone in a day, she'd leave. Well, I was in the Planar Prison helping out Haer'Dalis and she left on me, even after I turned off the party AI, which just pissed me off even more.

I went back to the circus to find her and she is not there. I picked up Haer'Dalis for the time being, holding off on killing him (he lied to Grub. Grub doesn't like liars).

Any help of her location would be greatly appreciated.

What really bugs me is she didn't even ask me if I wanted her to stay, she just left. Damn child needs a good slap in the face, especially after all the time and effort I put into developing her as a cleric who could join the fray.

Gawd damn piss me right off!

Now I have a saved game just when she said it, but that means having to re-do the entire Planar Prison over again and picking up Keldorn to take Korgan's place. He may not be the best there is, but out of the choices I have, is second best by far fighter wise.

Thanks for the reply and for anyone else reading this and you know where she can be found, drop me a line. She can't just vanish and has to be some place that a winged-elf would like to be.

Never had Aerie and Korgan together so never had the confrontation scene, but I did let Aerie out of the group. Ever since, I see her standing at the Copper Cornet. Naturally she just stands there, looking all dejected and lonely. (Just like Yoshimo and Nalia--they all seem to just stand around there--no Life of their own??)

Anyway, next time you get there, it may be worth a check. If you want her, that is.

In the circus if you save aerie but dont take her to you party, then come back later and talk to her, (if you say no i cant use you yet) she gets all nervious and says she has errands to run... and takes off never to be seen again?

 

If you choose Korgan to Aerie(just letting Korgan stay means choosing for Aerie)Aerie will wait a day after she warns that she will leave then.If she doesn't leave after the day Korgan will have his fun on her and she leaves FOREVER.You won't see her again not even in the circus.She just gets out. IIRC if you speak with her uncle quayle he would say "she is young and has a bad temper...".I advise having Aerie thus leaving Korgan.

 

Yeah, I let him go and picked up Keldorn and then redid the entire Planar Prison, which was where Aerie took off. I'd like to know how she left when no one could leave until the Warden was killed.

On another note, I am going to have Korgan join up again and see if Aerie leaves when he does or if the 65 day cycle starts all over again (that's when Aerie finally snapped and said she'd leave).

Keldorn mind you is pretty good himself. With guantlets of dex and other items I gave him, he's sitting at a lovely -9 AC and joined in the battles right away.

Keldorn is nice, and don´t you just love that Sean Connery way of saying "In Torm´s name, I shall serve". Anyway, He´s like a father to me.

I'm pretty sure that long term any parties mixing good and evil eventually come to a break point where you have to choose one or the other. Sometimes a fight breaks out. Thank goodness (or badness), it makes roleplaying sense to me that a paladin and an evil drow (for instance) wouldn't get along for long.
Good + neutral OK, Evil + neutral OK.
By the way, you can't cheat by temporarily dumping the awkward party then taking them back, the break re-occurs even sooner.

 

i found Keldorn quite a decent fellow really, for a hated Paladin.

 

Yeah, I like Keldorn too. If you have him and Anoumen in the same party there's some nice repartee prior to his Knighthood where Keldorn advises him and Ano hates it. When Ano gets his WIS boost he apologises for being such an ar*#hole earlier. I almost forgave him.

 

I would kill Anomen though
He is like a real paladin and a perfect candidate for the sheath of my blade.

 

What do u do in the planar sphere? havent got that far yet...didnt get the game till like 2 weeks ago. Do u get lots of xp?

 

The Planar Sphere is actually pretty tough if you enter with a low level party. Those halflings kept me busy reloading for awhile until I was able to defeat them. The demons alone when you Plane Shift are well worth entering though and by the time it was over, I missed hunting them down.

Keldorn is cool for that reason.. if needed he can take the place of minsc just give him dex gauntlets and hes almost the exact same fighter

 

True, then not only do you not have to put up with Minsc, but Boo as well! It's a shame you can't take Boo and whip him against a brick wall.

I wish i could pickpocket Minsc and sell Boo off to a slaver or something. Keldorn is awesome with the axe you can find that is guarded with the rest of the cool items by the golems in whatsherfaces castle, where you have to take out the trolls. I found that the best way to get past the golems is to get aerie to go in with sanctuary. The golems activate, but they won't attack her. I still regret not getting the exp for killing the golems and those big creatures you have to feed at the end. Oh well, i guess i'm still alive.
