Blank Screen Problem 2

    Hey folks, I need some help with a problem with my laptop.

    It's the same problem as before but I can't sort it this time. I go into safe mode and try to set the resolution to 256 colours and 1024x768 but it remains blank on a restart.

    I can only get it to work on 16 colours, but that's not much good.

    I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks all.

    Download the latest driver for your graphics card. Boot in Safe Mode and install the driver, overwriting the one you have. Reboot the laptop in normal mode and keep your fingers crossed.

    Which graphic card does you laptop have, BTW?

    I'm not really sure. A SiS 630? I don't even know if that's a graphics card.

    It's not a card per se, but it's built into the chipset. Should work fine just the same though, provided you've got the drivers.
