[IMG] Has anyone seen or played this yet?

I think the game has turned out more strategy than rpg, but still I'd be interested to hear, coz the premise of the game sounds rather fun. Hmm, do I force them to believe in me or do I pursuade them by doing nice Godly things? Famine pestilence and fireballs or help the lost fisherman back to his village?

Nahh, lets drop the non-believers from a great hight down on their villages. A after a small rainstorm like that, I'm sure the rest will believe alright!

Thor make way for the new Viking God... :D :D

I've been playing it for some day, and although it is a good game, I think the hype has been to much. But if you haven't played the game, it would be impossible for me to explain my critics.

I'm on Return to Krondor just now. Soulbringer is next and Sacrifice also. After that I planned Summoner. But, who knows?
Anyway, I remeber old legend Amiga game Populous (not sequel The beginning). There you were a god. If that's the idea in Black and White, I'll skip it.

[IMG] I just started playing it today. I find moving about a bit annoying but the graphics are great and you can more or less get believers the way you want, scare them by throwing there mates down cliffs or feed them and let them 'make babbies' :D to get them on there knees :p I think it's cool having a giant cow try to eat the villagers then make big poopies on there houses, hehe, bad boy! down!...not as good as i was expecting but entertaining all the same. I think it will get better as I play and get the hang of it though I don't see it having long term appeal. It's kind of like lots of genres mixed up as it were...

[IMG] I watched it when my little brother played it, it looks and plays great. He was bowling with builders and ravaging a town, squishing all those little people who were running around. Just hilarious. And I was ROFL when he slapped his pet tiger in the face or tried to scratch his balls. The graffics are great and the gameplay is great for a short term. but nothing beats Bg 2 or Diablo 2 so this one is no exception on that RULE.

I have to agree with Duskai, it is quite annoying to move the camera. You do get kind of used to it, but it's still a pain. It's a pretty cool game, but not the greatest. And although I was playing pretty crapily, it's quite addictive. (I found myself up until 6:00 a.m. playing it without realizing it.)

It gets tedious when trying to take over some of the villages. Especially the ones on island 3.

I actually think it's quite difficult to keep you villagers constantly happy. They always ask for one thing or another. I can never keep them happy.

It's 1:30 am, I'm scared, wanna know why? black and white just whispered my name, my real name, unprompted in an evil voice...I had to check online to see if I wasn't going gaga, luckily I'm not the only one, apparently the devil guy points it out when it's a full moon and does all sorts of creepy things, there's also a silly easter egg phone box in land 1...remember you b&w players, never leave it on past midnight (muhahaha)
