    Don't get too excited. I'm sure it's one of those name-recognition scams to fool the rubes. I saw something somewhere, for the life of me I can't remember where, that the original BIS people were as surprised as you guys.

    Well, for starters, they know the community isn't stupid. Games in the style of IWD & BG and that carry their names will nog attract a mainstream audience. And the community will not settle for mediocrity. After a couple of gameplay movies, you can already see whether it will be an average potatoe, or a modern roleplaying gem. If they would just resurrect the engine and make more content, it'll probably already be a succes. But that's probably not their modus operandi.

    Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, but I for one will not be that surprised if it turns out to be complete garbage.
