BG2 Multiplayer Problem

    [​IMG] When ever I go to play BG2 wiht my friends, it never works becasue we have different versions (I have the gold edition.) Does anyone have this problem? Can it be fixed with mods or anything?

    My experience is that you need to make sure you have the same Patch. I am pretty sure this is all the game checks as the game itself doesn't really know about mods or anything. So if you poth download the latest patch from this site and install it then all should work fine.

    If yours is Gold and theirs isn't and the versions don't match; I would say it's because their games aren't fully patched up.

    You and your friends all install the latest patch, available on SP.

    I have installed the patch form SP, but it still doesn't work. We play through GameSpyArcade, by the way. Anyway, every time my the person who isn't hositng makes a character, it exits.
