BG1 multiplayer trouble

    [​IMG] ive had the game for a long time but never been able to play online... i would always have the latest patches and etc etc and tried playing through gamespy and now i have a network at home but i still cannot connect to games or have people join my games by using the IP connection type... on the home network i have now i have the latest patches on both comps and i know the right IP addresses and all, but it still doesnt let me connect.. just says "could not connect...".. and i play other games online just fine, like diablo 2 and etc... but BG1 is like multiplayer cursed for me.. any suggestions? you can email me too at pavelpg@comcast.net

    Have you also installed the Direct X 8 bug patch? If not, it should fix your problem. Just follow this link (it's the second file from the top).

    [​IMG] Yes i've got the latest directX patch and the latest game patch... ToSC is NOT installed because i figured it would make things more complicated... but do you guys think it might help? (and then patching that and whatnot if they are available)...
