    Yes, you should buy it.

    I found it more challenging tactically, but with less story to it. Very fun indeed.

    Dudette - IWD kicks ass!

    Good dungeon romps, nice graphics, great fights, interesting items! You should actually buy two for even asking the question!

    Blackthorne - What was you favorite fight? I loved the Yuan-Ti fortress...Drawing a blank on the name right now though...The one with the summoners.

    [IMG] Bel - Definitely the fake temple with the Yuan-Ti. That really gets the blood pumping! All those monsters flooding out of the fog of war, and the battle text telling you that that High Summoner is summoning more and more and more...

    Where is he? Where IS he? WHERE IS HE! THERE you are you SOB! NOW I've got you! Die, die, die! ;)

    [IMG] Even though BG1&2 and IWD and almost the same engine and made by the same people they are rather different. Both BG's at their heart are quest games, while IWD is a hack and slash game.

    Good points;
    - making my entire party
    - good graphics and great music
    - lots of fun fights

    bad points;
    - there are just so many things you can kill before you get bored.
    - not a lot of replay value

    I loved all three games but I think a combo of the two is the best; a game with BG style quests (that involved thinking & good story) and some great dungoen crawls and fighting.

    But buy IWD it was great! And now there is HoW as well
