Well, after a gazzillion frustrating attempts at trying to get BG: Tutu (cr@p!) I am just gonna play through BG with the normal engine!

My question is, apart from that 'Dark Side of the Sword Coast' I think its called (the ones thats riddled with bugs), I can't any mods for BG1!!

I'd be grateful if you could direct me to some guys! :D

There was a post on here a couple of days ago for the Grey Clan mod. I haven't played it yet but it looks promising.

[IMG] It's good to see that there is still demand for BG1 mods. Although, after playing BGII, the most of those who liked BG1 only want to play it again with BG1Tutu (or BGT but that's not too popular)

In my personal opinion, BG1 can be played again and again without Tutu or any graphical tweak, because it's so good.

I love BG1, and would very gladly create mods for it, but a modder should do his work according to the player's demand, lest his mod will remain an orphan. According to the current plans, the possible next episode(s) of The Grey Clan will be BGII mods, and since almost everyone has ToB, it most likely will require the expansion.

I've got to say I played BG1 through again just after new year. I didn't have any mods installed becaue I tried DSOTSC, but it was too buggy. Also I didn't use tutu bacause I <AHEM!> couldn't figure out how to use it. Anyway I still really enjoyed it, and it's great to play the whole saga in one long go.

I play TuTu because I'm more familiar with the BG2 spells/HUD (it's been years since I played the original) and because I find the low res of BG1 really distracting sometimes. Although I did have some trouble with the Cloakwood bug fiasco, I've had nothing but good things happen to me with TuTu.

The only problem I've had with Tutu was the Greater Werewolf being impossible to kill (or if not impossible then too hard for me even on easy difficulty) and the game freezing when Sarevok dies. But as I don't always do the Werewolf Island quest (so little reward and too linear) and the game ends when you kill Sarevok, I didn't consider there to be any major problems with Tutu.

I had BG1 but never played it through untill I found Tutu. The main reason being the crappy resolution and also the ever great TAB-function with TOB installed. And I didn't find it that difficult to install, but then again, I am so smart, S - M - A - T. Err.. S - M - A - R - T.
