    As obvious some side quests may bear thins to do with fetching books which will get you reputation, experience etc. Above this, does keeping books have a function or benefit in the game ?

    If not, is there a way I can safekeep the books somewhere rather than my inventory? I'd not like to give them away, however, my party has been like a six-pack library.

    [​IMG] You could always claim a box or cache in an area you visit semi-regularly. The stuff you leave in a container will stay there.

    And all are surprisingly roomy ;)

    Books are just there for a bit of colour. Something to read to understand the world a bit better. Some have uses such as for a quest in Beregost or the Tomes, otherwise they're decoration.
