[IMG] I played through the game several months ago and then got sucked into BGII so now I don't remember the great weapons. Now I've got HOW added. What are the best weapons in the full game?

    [IMG] My favorites are:

The Hand of the Gloomfrost (+4 2H Sword)
    The Black Bow (+4 Longbow)
Three White Doves (+3 Mace with a percentage chance of destroying undead)

I like the Longbow +4: Hammer; +5 THAC0 and 4 attacks per round. Also Long Sword of Action +4; +1 attack per round. Couple the Bow with Arrows of Pericing; +4 THAC0.

[IMG] There are so many awesome weapons and some of them are randomized. I wish I could remember. Cernd's Blade was good, there was an awesome axe +4 or 5 I found somewhere. I need to run through IWD again.

    Ignore, testing...

I think you can buy Black Bow in the stores of Lonelywood (how), but I think you should go for the +4 Hammer bow. I don't remember where you can find it, but I use it :D

I never got the longbow +4 Hammer (damn!), but I've heard that it's random loot from the female elf who's got one of the badges. The one in the area of Lower Dorn's Deep with the Fire Giants.

[IMG] Conlan has the Black Bow if HoW is installed along with some other NICE but VERY EXPENSIVE weapons.

My favorite is the Bastard Swrod +3 'Defender'
    Just incase you don't know:

    Thaco+3
    Damage+3
    Armor bonus:2
10% resistance to all forms of physical damage!
    Just brilliant.

I think the best axe was the Celebrants Blade which is 4+ but doesn't have any other selling features. Man I loved that Defender Bastard sword.

Depends on class and sometimes race.

Fighter: Bastard Sword +2: Defender (use with Lady Ilmadia's shield).

Paladin: Pale Justice: Long Sword +4 (+7 vs. Evil). You always get the +7 cause ur always fighting Evil things.

    Cleric: Dunno
    Thief: Short Sword of Backstabbing
    Mage: Kontick's Dagger
    Bard: Two-Handed Sword +4: Gloomfrost

the Pale Justice is the greatest weapons but the Short Sword of life is better than of backstabbing and for fighter the Bhaals fire is much better

Yeah, Conalon has some good stuff with HoW. Starting from when you first enter Lonelywood, I'd say one of the best weapons is the +5 sling in the back of the halfling temple (Illmater?). The halfling has a couple of good clubs/maces that are +3. 3 Doves comes to mind, but there's a couple of others. There's a good short bow that Emmrich has (Storm Bow?). TotL has some fairly decent +4 stuff in there too. There's a +4 Longsword of Action back in Lonelywood when you protect the innkeeper.

Other than that, Pale Justice and Aihonen's Sword are excellent too.

[IMG] The three white doves, you can buy it at the beginning of the expansion pack if you have enough money, eg. Using the cheats.
