i was planning on starting a new game and i made a half elf fighter with katana, too bad he didnt look so good with shield and a winged red helm. i was wondering, whats the best looking setup and race? i wanted to make a blade with 2 daggers but too bad he holds em upright unlike the shadow thieves which is really cool. A human with shield and full plate look nice but amonen already got that look down so i wanted to change, any suggestions?

There is a mod which introduces new and cool avatars for the game, you may use them. I don't rememebr the link though. You can change your avatar via SK if you do not like it. You can even make yourself appear like a shadow thief, or any other monster, but this can cause bugs, try it out!

The monk avatars look really cool but I don't like the way the monk paperdoll looks. If you have the One Pixel Productions mod, the monk paperdoll looks like a guy with a big long robe and hood, which looks better but not ideal.

I had that One Pixel mod but when I tried to install it it said that files were corrupt so it didn't install. Why? Or should I open a new topic for it? And is OnePixel mod really useful and/or cool?

Yes. It is one of the best things to ever happen to BG2. Make sure you have the most recent build of 1pp. The main site for it is here. Install this puppy and all the avatars will look good.
