[IMG] Okay, I just got the game for my PC, installed it and start playing the good campaign. Approx. 3 minutes after I started the first mission, I died. All of my units, buildings and heroes dropped dead. Literally. So I tried again. Aboth 3 minutes later, dead again. I tried singleplayer vs. a computerplayer 4 times, every time the timer reaches exactly 3 minutes 30 seconds and all of my units die.
Ehmmmm.... now, I don´t know much about this game yet, but I´m pretty sure that´s not supposed to happen. Right? I have all patches etc.

Are you playing a legit copy of the game? If not, that may be the root of your issue.

It´s as legit as it gets. Cool package with grumpy dwarf and pissed-off elf and everything.

Edit: Tried reinstalling. no go, unfortunately...

Same thing happened to me, with both BfME1+2. Uninstalled the whole package, reinstalled, and everything is running smooth again.

I recall asking questions about what could be the cause of this on another board, and all i got was some dumbass comments that i shouldn't be using illegal software, while they are both as legal as it gets, but some people firmly believe that if there's a problem with the software, the software must be illegal. Well, think again.

Anyway, did you happen to do a Winows update just before it happened? Because that's what i did, and it wasn't just BfME that was messed up but several other games as well, such as my Rome Total Realism campaign, it simply wouldn't load anymore. So i did a system restore, and set it back to a date before the Windows update, and all softare was working as it should again. Now, i'm not claiming that the update was definitely the cause of all things, but it COULD be the source of your problems. Windows updates are mostly security updates, and some of those might cause conflicts with certain software, it's the only logical explanation i can come up with.

    Might be worth a try.

I recall having a few mods and/or maps screwing things up. Try uninstalling them, or just trying a different map. Other than that try d/ling the latest patch and restarting your comp.
