Base Attack Bonus Rules

    [​IMG] have seen somewhere before the game came out that if you have 10 lvl fighter\10 lvl rougue the base attack is the best of both (like in 2-nd ED),but i tried it with cheats and it is not so.It is the addition of both not the best.So a 10\10 lvl barbarian\fighter has base attack 20 not 10.
    One more question - how goes extra attack working?Every 5 levels or every 5 base attack?

    not sure what you're asking (if anything) with the first one. In 3E Basic Attack Bonus (BAB) stacks no matter what class you choose.

    You gain an extra attack for every BAB 1 beyond 5.
    attacks:
    +5
    +6/+1
    ...
    +10/+5
    +11/+6/+1
    ...

    You can get up to max 4 basic attacks pr round.

    And an example just for sport.

    Clr3/Ftr2/Rog3 would have BAB +6/+1 (+2 BAB from each class)

    [​IMG] yup that's what i asked, thanks :) suppose i was writing it with my legs as i see now.
    Anyway it was written somewhere that Infinity engine cannot support the new Base Attack formula and If you have multiclassed character you base attack will be not addition, but the best of your class's base attack.
    In Lokken's example:
    Clr3/Ftr2/Rog3 would have BAB +2 only or
    Clr3/Ftr3/Rog3 would have BAB +3 (fighter lvl 3 BAB) (like in 2ed THAC0 was) :mad:

    Talking about attacks so am I mystified with my mage, he has a bab of 5 but in his numbers of attacks is says 5/1/1/1/1 or when using his x-bow 11/6/6/6/6 this cant be right but I just noticed it and am wondering if anyone else have seen it.

    I would swear that's a bug since that many attacks at that bab is impossible.

    I've seen a post about this bug.
    It seems that after a wizard casts one of those spells that create missiles and allows him to throw 5 per round, the wizard retains the 5 attacks even after the spell expires.
